Farmers markets to re-open – – mark your calendar!

Mark your calendar! Community Markets announces that three Westchester farmers markets open on Saturday, May 29th. The locations are Tarrytown, Ossining, and Pleasantville.

Other location openings will follow and be announced here as well.

Stay tuned to Westchester Eats as you will be informed of their local offerings, cooking demos, live music from local musicians and tastings throughout the season.

On Saturday, May 29th the Tarrytown Farmers Market will re-open in Patriot’s Park on Route 9. This season, in addition to fresh seasonal produce, local wines, cheeses, organic breads and grass-fed meat, the market, which runs from 8:30am to 1pm every Saturday, will feature old-fashioned pickles from Pickle Licious every other week until November 20th!

Benmarl Winery: Local wine
Bread Alone: Organic breads, pastries, pies, granola and cookies
Calkins Creamery: Farmstead cheese
• Dines Farm: Chicken, lamb, pork, beef, rabbit, duck, eggs
• Gajeski Produce: Romaine lettuce, kale, collards, Brussels sprouts, potatoes & more
Meredith’s Bread: Breads, muffins, cookies, jams, biscotti
Pickle Licious: Old fashioned pickles
Tierra Farm: Organic, locally roasted nuts, trail mix & nut butters
Monkshood Nursery: Certified organic produce and plants
• Orchards of Concklin: Fresh Produce
Pika’s Farm Table: Handmade quiche, sauces, salsas and more
