New menu items at Tarry Lodge

Tarry Lodge in Port Chester has updated their menu.  Certainly we will miss the Ribeye, Spaghetti all Chitarra, the Grilled Quail, and the Carbonara.

However (insert drum roll here) we can look forward to enjoying:

  • Gnocchi with Wild Boar: A potato/egg/flour gnocchi with Red Wine Braised Wild Boar with a touch of tomato
  • Spaghetti with Spigorello and Pancetta: Dried spaghetti with olive oil, garlic, red onion, chili and crispy pancetta. If you were wondering, Spigorello is a wild broccoli rate which is not as bitter… At touch sweeter
  • Grilled Venison: Served on a bed of braised cabbage topped with chanterelles and dressed with saba (a sweet reduction made from the must of grapes)
  • Brasato al Barolo: Boneless beef short rib braised in red wine, tomato, and rosemary. It is served over a chestnut bar lotto and a celery gremolata.

None of us is disappointed.  See you there!
