    RE: HONEY’S IN CROTON

HAS THE PIZZA CHANGED SINCE THE NEW OWNERSHIP?
EVERYTIME I GET IT NOW, IT IS BURNT AN I CANN’T TELL IF IT IS THE SAME RECIPE.

If you ask, they will say, “No.” While keeping an open mind, the last pizza I had there was not of the Honey’s ilk I was used to. I’m going to go back several times – - will keep you posted. The decor is slowly being updated… The change in ownership was hard to swallow for many of the regulars; but change is not very easy for most people.

RE; RUEBEN’S , ON DIVISION ST, PEEKSKILL

GREAT AUTHENTIC FOOD…..GREAT OWNER….BUT BAR DRINKS AT $7? AND WHY DO THE WAITRESSES LOOK SO UNHAPPY?

  4. Todd Alan Says:

    Sue –

Tell us more! When you say, “Authentic food,” what type of food? BBQ? Cajun? Would love to hear more.

    MEXICAN. RUBEN’S IS MEXICAN.

EVER EAT AT DOCAS, 125 MAIN ST, OSSINING? BEST SANGRIA.
IT COMES IN A PITCHER FOR $20. THEY MIX LIQUORS(ALMOND, ANNISETTE, VODKA ETC) WITH SEVERAL KINDS OF WINE. LIKE A LONG ISLAND ICE TEA, IT COMES OUT TASTING LIKE SANGRIA!
THEIR OCTOPUS SALAD IS VERY GOOD TOO.

i’ve eaten at Ruben’s and I totally agree about the waitstaff being unhappy. My waitress barely spoke english….and had to come back twice to confirm our order. The margarita’s were awful, and if a mexican restaurant can not make a good margarita…..there’s a problem. My food was eh.
